Munich
For the second straight year, Munich is hosting a Lacrosse Nation camp which we have expanded to include a women’s camp. Starting on Friday, August 15th we have brought back another group of top coaches from the N.C.A.A., the Canadian leagues and international lacrosse. We have heard from the players at last year’s camp and we are please to announce that we have capped enrolment at 40 men and 40 women. This camp is for intermediate to advanced lacrosse players. The €90 price includes a reversible jersey, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and 13+ hours of coaching. This camp is designed to help players improve immediately as well as to develop season long training habits to continue improving throughout the season.
The schedule for the camp is as follows:
Friday August 15, 18:00-21:00
Opening session covering proper warm-up and cool down techniques, basic ball handling work combined with basic drills that teams and individuals can use throughout the season to keep improving.
Saturday August 16, 10:00-16:00
Second session starting with full team warm-up, including stretching, ball drills and individual player skills specific to each position. We take a short lunch break where players are able to ask questions of the coaches, covering any topics especially important to the camp attendees. The afternoon session will take players from individual skills to multi player drills building on team offence, team defence and transitional play.
Sunday August 17, 10:00-16:00
The third session will start with the morning being dedicated to advance situational play. We cover game situations and strategies encountered in the highest levels of Lacrosse. We will again take a lunch break where the coaches answer questions about the exercises and drills of the day. The afternoon is game time where we put into practice all the things we have learned throughout the camp. Coaches will be available after the game for analysis of players performance and explanations on how players can keep improving throughout the season using the drills from the camp.
