Hawaii
In Lacrosse Nation’s first tournament profile, we have the Hawaii Lacrosse Invitational Tournament.
As with all the worlds’ best tournaments, the Hawaii Invitational is set in a spectacular place,
Waikiki. This is a truly international tournament with teams from Canada, Japan and of course,
the U.S.A. There are over 30 teams participating in the women’s, men’s elite, master’s,
and grand masters divisions, a tournament that anyone can enjoy.
The H.L.I.T. also boasts an impressive line-up of international, M.L.L.,
and N.C.A.A. stars including Aaron Fenton, Mikey Powell, and 2007 tournament MVP Matt Striebel.
If great Lacrosse being played in paradise wasn’t enough for you, then the organizers have
also sponsored a party in a different place every night. So whether you come to the Hawaii
invitational to play, to watch, or to enjoy the nightlife, we are sure that you will agree
that this is one of the top tournaments in the world. If you are not convinced then watch
this program from Behind Lacrosse.

Victoria
The Summer Slam tournament in Victoria, Canada is another great international tournament set in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Although Summer Slam was only started a few short years ago, it has grown into a well established tournament taking in teams from Hawaii, Maryland, California, Oregon, Washington State, Ontario, and all over British Columbia.
With 26 teams expected to play in women’s, men’s, and master’s teams, this is one of the biggest tournaments on the west coast of North America.
We are also very proud to point out the fact that this is a non-profit event used to raise funds for local field lacrosse.
With an international flavour of teams playing in a city renowned for producing the Gait brothers, and with this tournament expanding each year, we should be hearing much more from this tournament for years to come.
Amsterdam
The fourth annual Lowlands tournament will be held in Amsterdam on the 7th and 8th of June. Organized by the Amsterdam Lions Lacrosse Club, this tournament offers a mix of international teams, great lacrosse battles, general silliness and all of the other forms of fun Amsterdam is known for.
With the accommodation set in downtown Amsterdam, and competitions such as hardest shot, urban jousting, and the Wee(d)-lympics, this tournament is as much about the social side of Lacrosse as it is about the team’s on-field performance.
